Most sleeping bags keep you warm
Surely argos or somewhere similar have £10-20 ones?

Not a chance, if you manage to get yourself up the road in 1 piece that's a bonus!

cheap sleeping bags are shite. i had one from argos for fishing. it cost £25 which isn't even that cheap and it was crap. spent £60 on my new one and its almost too warm.

Shite in what respect?
I have a fancy mummy -25 degree one which is roasting.
The 5 quid one I bought will keep me warm for a weekend though and will most likely be left behind, which I wouldn't want to do with my good one.

pop up tents are the future. takes all of 5 seconds to put up and all of 1 minute max to put away
