When my engine was originally mapped, the cam timing was never set up properly, and it was only mapped to 7200rpm because the guy mapping it didnt know anything about the engine internals, so basically, my engine could be more powerful after being set up again properly. The RR operator also said that he thought a better exhaust manifold would help a lot, so im thinking that if I have to get it remapped anyway, I should fit the new manifold first. My engine spec is this...

C20XE, Jenvy DTH Throtte Bodies, 276/284 degree (need to double check that though!) Fast Road Cams, Vernier Pulleys, Polished and ported head, Bronze valve guides, Double valve springs, Emerald 3D ECU, Rebuilt bottom end with new seals and gaskets, QED Oil pump with hardened steel internals, Lightened and balanced flywheel, Polished Crank, ARP rod bolts.
I already have a 2.25" S/S exhaust system from the manifold back, so the only restriction now I guess is the exhaust manifold. Ive seen this one on ebay which looks quite interensting, but has anyone got any experience?

I know it may not be THE best one, but if its half the price and would only be sacrificiing a couple of bhp, then it might be worth it. Plus it looks nicer than the one i got now anyway So yeah, any opinions on that one, and/or other options?

im hoping with the right manifold, cam timing set up properly, and the remap all the way to 8k rpm, i should crack 200.

With an oversized manifold u should crack 200bhp with the setup u have. After mapping that is.
Is the manifold in the link oversized tho or is it standard size but S/S??

thats what i was thinking, what happens if it is only the standard size but s/s, at least if you get a proper one you know its the real deal, and not a copy off ebay, imo youv spent enough getting the engine that way so why not splash out a little more and get a decent one

have you seen the Manifolds Broster and I use? I now have a design for a c20xe into a corsa, very similar to some of the higher priced items in design but less than 1/2 the price.

can do either a 4-1 or a 4-2-1 depending on engine and cam spec.

this is the first part of my engine that might have come off ebay (apart from the ARP rod bolts which were brand new anyway!)

No I havent but im very interested... Do you have any more details/pics etc? How much would you charge to fit it and remap the engine after doing the cam timing? I might just drive up to yours sometime during the summer and get it all done in one go...
