thinking of buying a ring necked parakeet when the dog we looked after goes home, has anyone had any expierience in owning a parakeet?.what are they like to look after,easy enough to handle,whats the life expectancy.

My sister has had a few and has a parakeet atm... irritating little fuck if u ask me and i really cant see the attraction... smells, makes a mess, noisey and if u let them out their cage theyll find some way of fooking off

an old mate had a parrot, an african grey macaw or something like that, anyway it was huge and bloody viscious.
always copied the ring from the phone, you would never know if it was the parrot or phone
