right my car has the eml light on and runs perfect ive tryed the paperclip test before and was sat there ages marking it down and it never stopped and flashed loads! so whats easiest way as i was planning on taking it to garage to get faults cleared but also want to know what its saying is up with it as it runs spot on a bit lump when first starting up thats about it?

Mate it will never stop flashing. It will just keep flashing the Code "12" at you if there's no fault.

Mine ran a bit lumpy when it was cold too, doesn't sound like you have a problem

ok cheers mate think il just go vauxhall garage get them to print faults out and clear them

I thought that there isn't a way of clearing the fault to get rid of the em light? Once the problem is sorted it should go out itself?

If you take the negative off the battery for a couple of minutes it'll clear the ECU and any faults. If the fault is still there it'll come straight back on though.

ove had battery off for like 2 days put it back on and light came back on so must be soemthing wrong just nout major will just get it on computer its easier
