Aint too fussed bout speed really, used to a 1.4 Sport, so wont be far off, plus it will be comfyer and more reliable

Its just a golf with a boot, I like golfs 
Wouldnt get a 1.6 though.....go for a TDi even a 115bhp one would do a better job that a 1.6.

they are nice my mates got silver one on coilerovers and 18" trouble is 1.6 would be slower than a 1.4 corsa

Quite like them after they've had a few touches (lowering and wheels etc)
1.6 will be dog slow though mate, 2.0 gti's golfs just about do 0-60 in under 11 secs. If you can afford it try and get the diesel for a little more poke and a lot more mpg.

Nice, but as mentioned I'd save for something quicker than a 1.6
Insurance may be an issue, but what about the 1.8T?

if you like it mate make the purchuse? just make sure you check over it on the rear just cant see why theyed write it off just for the boot an bumper? ask as many Question about it as poss then make ya decision
