1.34 for diesel today! one pound thirty four!!! GTF!
i remember thinking 79p for unleaded was high. a the big deal it was when fuel broke the £ per ltr mark, now it up another 30%+ something needs to happen. luckilly i have a company car but my g/f has to fork out for her fuel and shes going to struggle if it gest worse!!

Only a matter of time before I leave this dog shit hole of a country now. Give it 15 years and they'll be charging more tax on everything else because all of the decent ENGLISH tax payers would have fucked off elsewhere and all they'll have is the fucking scroungers left claiming left, right and centre. What a complete mess.

i dont care about paying this much in petrol as long as the tax doesnt go up tbh, if they reduce petrol tax will just rise or there do a tax per mile kind of thing.
the reason its so high is the governement are having to supprt themselves on the current economy

It cost me just over £75 to fill my van with diesel when I bought it in Feb, filled it up last week £87 £13 extra over 3 1/2 months, and that lasts just short of 400 miles
Glad we only usually venture outside of St Helens twice a week in it

£60 a week on diesel now & rising, funny thing about it all is im on a MA government sponsored training program just now earning £80 a week, so 80% of my wage goes on fuel, ive also got mortgage, car loan, & other living expences aswell...........this equation does not balance! No wonder theres so many people in this country that deside its simpler to sit on their arse.

So what other income do you have to pay the mortgage with?

Well, additionally to my income I get a living allowance from my employer & am eligable for a student loan as per all students, however im running on savings mostly!
I saved up some cash to allow me to get a better job which is what im doing, the incentive's there to bleed myself dry for a couple years to retrain to make good money for the rest of my working life, at least thats the way I see it.
Its bloody difficult to budget when the price of everything (esspecially fuel which I use lots of - not through choice) is going through the roof.

1 litres for the win
I feel for me mam though, her jeep had 1/4 of diesel in and she filled it up from that and it cost £85 plus it only does 28mpg which I think is shocking for a diseasal.
