Flew from Newcastle to naples and when we arrived the missus suitcase was smashed to bits (Hardback case), it looked as though it had been driven over as it was broken on all four corners with chunks out of it and a black tyre mark across the centre.

I spoke with the Holiday rep the following day who said that we shoud have reported it at the airport when we recived the bag. WE accepted that we should have reported it and left it at that.

So I took time out of my holiday and searched for a new suitcase.

We then retunrned home with my suitcase and her new one and upon arriving at newcaste found that my suitcase was smashed!!!

Its a large wheeled one with a retractable handle, except it dosent have a handle anymore.

All they have to do is take your bag from teh terminal to the plane, it cant be that hard really.

Next time i am putting my clothes ina refuse sack and taping it closed. never expected the holiday would also cost £100 on suitcases

Rant over thank you for allowing me to vent my spleen

When I went to Andorra in jan my suitcase went missing for the first 2 days which was a pain in the arse as it had all my skiing stuff in it! When it turned up the edges were all black and scuffed up! Honestly doesnt know what they do with em, think they must just tie them to the back of the car and drag them along the floor with some rope.
