After Batman Begins.

I'm thinking its essentially a remake of Batman, seen as though he falls off the sky scraper at the end of Batman.

yea thats what i thought, but then what would be the point in trying to make the original better..

i always prefered the 2 originals, time and effort went into them films, they were dark and used to scare me as a kid.

Thats Tim Burton for you

I thought it was odd at the end of Batmin Begins when they had the Jokers calling card.

That suggest hes already been turned in to the Joker. I suppose you aren't meant to see it as a sequel in sequence just a sequel to BB.

The Batman's before 'Batman Begins' sucked. Cars riding round with neon lights, bandits with neon lights in their guns, batmobile with neon lights etc.

Lame.

Dunno, but I think some of it is being filmed in Cardington Hangers again though.
