Anyone know the deal with these? my mate wants one to buzz about in the summer.

Example here

They are priced from around 150-400 BRAND NEW, are these a secret bargain or is it just aload of cheap eastern shite which is going to break sooner rather then later? I'm use to mopeds being priced around the £1000+ barrier.

tbh I probably wouldn't trust my life on a moped that cheap - think of the budget brakes and shizzle.

I used to build bikes like this for a large motorcycle firm.

There usually cheap and nasty, don't last, break all the time and don't meet EU regs.

Buy something thats gonna last.

Sister fella has just got a new one for round £800, got delivered the other day and from what Ive seen of it looks decent quality and comes with a warranty so dont expect it to break all the time!

Cant remember the name of the company it came from but will ask him if you're interested?

'As the scooter has not been registered we have never started and so the running can not be guaranteed'

Wouldn't go near it.
