Don't recall seeing you lot there but do you have a stand at Billing Vauxhall Show? If not, why not?

Which is very difficult to get into, especially for a web based forum. They like people to have properly organised meets on specific dates and all the other club stuff that goes with it and such (Monthly letters/magazines sent out etc)
I believe Ian, Matt and Will went to a meeting with them and are working on trying to get registered. Not sure how thats going.

So do any of you attend it through other clubs? Probably the biggest Vauxhall show aside from PV.

You can go as a visiting club but we never pursued it after the meetings to join. We were refused entry to VBOA after the first attempt and they gave us feedback on what we needed to change to get in. Just basically better systems for dealing with offline people, communications by post etc. Nothing we couldn't come up with and nothing that other forums have got in by saying they've got systems in place but really not actually having any offline members. I couldn't see the benefits of either blagging it or altering the systems. Writing letters and cashing cheques is hard.

I want to go this year as it isn't far from me.
But when I see the pictures in Total Vauxhall, it always looks more like an Vauxhall, Bedford or Opel anorak's meet, unlike PVS. I could be wrong though.

Been going to Billing since 1998. Nice easy relaxing weekend looking at new and old Vauxhalls. Not many shows like that.

Yes sometimes but for me its just the whole relaxed weekend thing. Drinking, bbq's, sunburn(or wading, like last year) and relaxing.
Its great fun, not overdosed with chavs either.
