im changing my m8s engine from a 1.4 8v to a 1.6 16v the old engine but he dosnt want me to swop the steering racks over will it matter if i dont connet the powersteering pump up but leave it bolted on once new engine is fitted and he uses his old steering rack not sure weather thats gunna work or not but said id find out for him ????

if its hydraulic and you get a new belt so the pump doesnt turn and you use a non pas rack so its not being run dry it will cause no probs what so ever

any idea waat engine the belt should b off fella cause he dnt want the a/c either

a none air con/pas 1.416v one will fit!
