A mate is looking to buy that car. He's currently got a Y reg corsa C 1.2 sxi.

It's done about 80,000 miles, has a few dents, and is probably worth about £1000.

How much would he get if he was to to a part ex on his corsa?

Also how reliable are the new astra's, and as that one is on 50,000 miles, when does it need its cambelt service. The car is for practicality, so no need to say its slow etc.

Thanks

he'd get anything betwen £800 and 1.5K on a new (ish) car like that I reckon

I got offered £1700 for my sport for a brand new astra SRI

Edit: Cambelt should be done already if it's anything similar to my engine 40K they should be changed iirc

I think he'd be happy with £500, he's had it for 3 years, and it's been through the wars

Just wondering about the cambelt tbh

It should be the newer 1.4 in which case it will have a chain. Pretty sure all new shape 1.4's are chain.

They are dog slow though, its a big car with not much grunt.
