Hi,
Ive got a really got deal on a 206 GTI 180 but the thing is it doesnt have any road tax. It's about a 3 hour drive from mine place to pick it up. I dont intend to get it taxed for another month until the insurance runs out on the car im currently driving. What is the law regarding this kind of situation? (EG. wanting to drive an untaxed car home, to declare off road) Thanks

yeah i know. i was just wondering if theres like a option when your just moving the car on a one-off basic. Like with the situation when driving to a MOT test station with no tax is acceptable etc.
