...if i dont have the logbook.

I scrapped my old Corsa last June, but never declared it scrapped, just got a reminder through to either tax it or declare it SORN again, but i want to declare it Scrapped, but how can i do it? I cant find the V5 Logbook either. Anyone know? Cheers.

i would sorn it first
and then write to them and tell them you scrapped it giving them the reg etc

It is SORNed but it says on the form my current Tax or SORN runs out on 31/05/2008, so does that mean i have to SORN it again?

Yea, SORN it again, the write to them and tell them it was scrapped.

Or you could try ringing them and telling them you scrapped it, see if it can all be sorted over the phone?

phone them, say you sent them to log book, and ask why you getting the reminder through..

say it much of got lost in the post, and ask them to sort it there and then

I'd take that approach tbh. Dont get arsey, just casually suggest it must have got lost, mybe you put the wrong postcode or no stamp in it etc.

Car went to a Scrap yard last year, just never declared it.
