i think that's my plan with the 106

Thats my plan! I think its shit hot. Im not old enought to have a quick car (your evo's, tyre R old school scooby etc) so all i would be able to do is buy a small petrol car or a diesel hatch on finance...smart but shit slow and not worth how much you pay for them! So might aswell wait till mine doesnt work, have fun in it, and spend your money holidays and beer

After speaking to Mark Fish he said to me his customer had a Yellow GTi previously with tb's diff omex full throttle shift etc.

He took a punt with a 172 cup had a set of H&R's fitted and set up by Mark Fish and he said the only mistake was he didnt do it earlier. Mark swears the quickest cars out on track are the ones that are set up properly....and thats comming from a critically acclaimed engineer not some random who's set up a tuning company.

You can all you want, I don't like them.

The darker wheels on fads do however look much better than the standard colour.

the way you gotta look at it is...

106 ph1 rallye =
172 clio = another one

you must have a constant smile on your face overtaking in that mate

im stuck between a 106 gti and a 172 though myself...thinking just buy the pug see what its made of and get the 172 later on...they only getting cheaper

butler - yes.... but impreza's and evo's are capable of so much more They were prob driven badly or just no setup for it.

And with 4.5k you cant afford an Impreza or Evo.
