you wont get a sausage filter onto dbilas tb's dean. unless you change the lower inlet manifold.

Is it because of the angle? Would I have to get the individual socks then?

use twin ramair ones, ideal for what you want, sell lots of them to the rallycross lads.

They are just toss tbh.
They can get sucked in, they reduce power, fit poorly etc.
Just avoid them

Right, this is what I thought. Only problem is the space I have.

the trumpets will be welded to the base plate so they are pretruding from the bottom. This will enable them to be used with the dbilas bodies as they clamp on. The only problems I can see is the room in the engine bay and the room the trumpet has between the top and the inside of the filter.
What do you rekon?

i heard that the filter or sock or whatever you use has to be a certain distance away from the end of the trumpet

there should be just enough room. Need to find a baseplate now that I can drill my own holes into and weld the trumpets on.

Ideally you want to aim for a 30-40mm gap between trumpet and filter. You can always chop your trumpets down to size to get this.

with the position of the tb's its irrelevant what you do with filters and trumpet size, whatever you do it will be far from ideal.

hmmm... they do you bigger filter aswell. 125mm which would leave me with 38mm gap. It just the space I have. the dbilas top-box is only about 40-50mm so will have to see how much room there is once fitted
