I have a mate whos like that.
Hes just bought this kitted Honda Prelude and depending on ur taste in cars it looks ok but not my scene anymore.He took me for a blast in it and it does go well.Its an import 2.2 Vtec with a few mods.He took it up the local 1/4 mile and said it was rapid smoking FTOs etc.I looked at his times on the site and they were 16s and 17s.lol.
I didnt say anything to him because hes a really good mate and totally harmless and hasnt really had fast cars so to him its minted and rapid.
He told me he was considering getting a Pulsar then he asked if the prelude would beat my old 1.He was pretty surprised when i told him no chance and that mine was running 313bhp,0-60 in the 4s and a top end of 160mph+ speedo figs.
If it was any1 else tho,like sum1 i didnt know or like,i would quickly get them told that their bullshitting.

I know a lad round my way who said he had a 300bhp LET nova and that the engine was standard 
The best part is he has never had a license and claimed he wrote it off after drifting round a car park and crashed it into a skip- aparently the keys fell out the ignition while he war doing this
I then asked him if i could buy it off him and he was stumped and said nothing for about 5 seconds he then said something about crushing it

A guy in work once told me he saw this VW lupo that had a turbo AND a supercharger he also said that it was going to cost 8 grand for him to be insured on his dad's Audi A4.....Fud

Plus he says stupid shit about vauxhall engines. I'll disagree, then he'll go off his head at me saying I dont' know shit about Vauxhalls and he's been into Vaux since he was 16 and all this shit.
