If a Wetherspoons plays music, it's not a Wetherspoons anymore.. their pubs that have music etc are called Lloyds Bars...
Spoon's I've been in have tv's, usually showing Sky Sports all day.

weatherspoons in maidstone plays music in the evenings now! its still packed though even without the music!
and its still a weatherspoons!!!!
we have two in maidstone, one is called 'society rooms' which is newer and dosnt play music at all.. does food aswell, the main weatherspoons is in centre of town and was pretty much the same but in a old building, 2 floors ' quite big, then all of a sudden now has a dj and dancefloor in the evenings......

Isn't Muggs owned by Weatherspoons sister company which is why they now play music? Or am I making that up
tbh i dont know..i know it still says weatherspoons 'muggleton inn' and same menus , same everything ! just sorted out the nightlife!
