Hi, need your help please
Basically last year i was insured to do 5,000 miles a year.
I actually did 7,800 which supprised me

The problem is that they asked for the limited miles form to be sent back (which i have). They are now asking questions about the mileage. MOT certs prove mileage which is unfortunate.
Lastly a women drove in to the side of me at christmas (small accident) which is currently being processed by them.
How do i get myself out of this one? Or do i just own up, claim ignorance, and ask for higher miles this year?

It'll be fine, I am insured to do 12,000 miles a year, Last year i done 29,000 when someone ran into the side of me.
They asked what the deal was with the insurance and i told them it asked for ESTIMATED mileage. They said fair enough and got on with it.

Trouble is Timberland that this was a limited mileage policy i.e I stated my maximum mileage.
The anoiying this is that i initiall asked for 10,000 miles a year but the insurance bloke then asked "are you sure you dont do 5,000 miles a year"
and persuded me to agree (like it was going to be conciderably cheaper)
Now look what issues its got for me!

Tell them that and say you felt he knew better because your not clued up on it and if they have any issues to pull the call that you made.
Who is it with? I'll check the terms and conditions for you and see if theres a way round it.
