HPI one is as accurate as you can get.

83600 tells you how many owners, when it was made, if its changed colour, if its ever been stolen or scrapped and if it ever been a total loss (written off).

What kinda car is it?

The current plate was transferred to this vehicle on 15/02/2000
*
A3ELH was applied to this vehicle on 01/10/1996
o This VRM has been recorded as stolen by the police
o It was recorded stolen on 12/09/1995 against a FORDEUROPEESCO
*
L966TUY was applied to this vehicle on 20/10/1993
o There are no interests recorded against L966TUY

Read it people.

The car started life with numberplate L966TUY. Someone then put a private plate on the car on the 01/10/1996 (A3...) Before, that A3 reg number was on another car that was recorded stolen on 12/09/1995. Then, the current plate (I'm guessing its L966TUY) was transfered back to you car on the 15/02/2000 - probs when the person with the private plate sold the car.

So your car has not been stolen, but previous car with that numberplate A3...

Also, the pervious car might have been the write off. Put your chassis number in, see if it really has gbeen
