I would usually just pay up the parking fine asap , but with this fine the lines I was parked on were in a terrible , terrible condition.
I was parked in double yellow lines in a sort of loading bay , however the lines were broken up and faded to an extent where you could argue that they were no longer in use.
I have many photos , but do not wish to post them up at the moment.
Does anyone have any advice/actual parts of the law that state the ticket is void in this case ?
Thanks
Gregor

Ask the council to send you the photo's of your car in the offending bay.
Then you can see what they saw.
If they don't have them, result. No proof, no ticket.

I dare say appealing a decision such as that would be costly if you were to include parts of the law...
Perhaps pay the fine and try your luck afterwards with an appeal, it's always worth a go and at least it won't end up in court if the fine has been paid.

You mean they take a photo of your car when they book you ?
If you pay up , then complain you get nowhere because you have admitted guilt !

don't pay it. make your appeal first. Whitties correct, if they haven't got photographic evidence they don't have a case.

Did you not see Dom Jolie's 'the complainers' when he was on about parking wars...there is like a parking bible you can get hold of that's got all the laws stated. Was there a sign above the parking bay, like a 'no loading' sign?

Has this worked as an appeal before? I've never heard of them taking photos of cars when they're booked..

Is it a council issued ticket?
If it's not just tear it up, not worth the paper its printed on
