Ive been in the civil service now for over a year, and its not my thing, bit boring etc sitting in an office all day.

My one passion in life is cars, but I have no experience working with them and wouldnt really fancy training to be a mechanic or anything.

I have 7 GCSE's and 2 A levels, and im at a loose end as to what to do. At the minute im earning bout £14k a year and wouldnt want any less.

Any suggestions folks? Any valeters on here as its something id considered?

Agreed you probably need to convince them you could have had a degree had you wanted one

I always assumed this as one of my tech teachers used to be a car salesman and he told me that. Could be wrong of course

If it's something you fancy then just go into a few dealerships and ask about positions. Might be worth having a look at something like sales admin as well as could probably get training/experience and move into sales in the future

Nice one, Id say I could fit into a couple of those roles nicely. Parts sales could be good for discount parts lol
Looking forward to finding out more now, will have to get myself down there to see whats available.

Cheers
