As per title, I am after an X14XE engine, preferably in the Nort West or Midlands area.

I figured someone is bound to want rid of one due to doing a conversion and them not exactly being in great demand, so thought I would give it a try on here?

Basically I only really need the block with head, things like gearbox, loom ecu, inlet/exhaust manifolds, hoses, ancilleries etc are not needed.

I ideally want something with history to back up mileage/services etc, nothing played with (no Mantzel boxes) as it is for my mothers car which chucked a rod on saturday.

No smokers/rattlers/knockers, just a decent, well looked after and honest engine wanted.

hi mate ive got an engine out of an M reg sri for sale if you want it? its done 114k but its bin well looked after have service sheets and repair bills for most of its life. its a standard engine. im looking for £125 for it although im open to offers. im located im sandbach J17 M6

It's got to be a 1.4 unfortunately as it is my Mums car so she doesn't want increased tax and insurance, otherwise I would put an X20XEV in as I have spare mounts.

Have you found a means to start it yet chief? Would ideally want to run a comp test on it etc.
