Then why da fuck wouldnt you want to put an XE in there? Pick them up dirt cheap, and will sell for more than a Corsa with a 1.4 or 1.6 engine.

well in the short term you will be out of pocket, why not just sell the car as a non runner and take a hit on the price? at least you wont have to fork out 1900 in the short term and be depending on the court money to get level.

An XE conversion can be done for £1000 or so. Surely that would be a good idea to go for?

You'll spend 1900 on a 1.4 and sell the car, but you wont spend 1000 on an XE because then you'd have to keep it? And you can't keep it with an XE because of the insurance, so you'll have to stick with putting in the 1.4 and selling it?

and got pissed off and sold.. for fair fucks if you're going for engine no 4
