how hard is it to spray your own boot?

I have sprayed my on wheels (albeit they have now flaked away beause of a lack of coats and harsh winter)

For the money time and effort i guess it woud be a good learning curve but then again i would need to buy another boot because i need my car everyday.

Or

Do i just pay a body shop to do it over a few days and have it done right for PVS ?
What would be the price for a boot roughly? 100 notes??

Boot has started to rust, no damange...

its pretty straight forward as long as you prep properly and that. My down fall whenever i have sprayed stuff was colour match.

I would pay to have it done if it was me.

I got quoted 150 to have mine done.

Why not try it yourself first on a scrap panel? I'm spraying a wing soon, just bought a new compressor, ive always got on well with smaller objects, but the biggest thing ive sprayed was a set of handlebars for a chopper, so this will be the ulitmate test for me..
I think aslong as you put the prep in, the paint goes ok, however you have to get the initial primer as smooth as a babys to get good results, even then i always mop the paint after to get a flawless shine, only problem is with the wing is i cant just pop it in the oven to dry lol

id have a go yourself mate as the good weather is coming in, will get away spraying it outdoors on a hot day, i done my front bumper in the garden and it turned out perfect, the odd bit of dust that did get on it got wet sanded and polished out anyways.

Did you spray that spoiler i bought off you? It was a perfect colour match to the boot.
