Which company are you with that insures modified cars?

How much more have they charge you for your modifications.

Im only asking all this as iv always been with CIS who up til now, have never charged for visial mods as long as you informed them what your done, bud hopefully my next car may have engine mods and visual mods so im looking for a decent company that isnt goin to charge the earth/take the piss

what mods you go and how much did your insurance go up by, this question would be of great help so i can gauge

i pay just under 1400 on my corsa c20xe with cams, group n chip, manifold and straight through system, v6 brakes, performance filter.
all these bits were on when i got the car so hasnt put the insurance up at all but i thought was a very reasonable price. im 20 with 1yr ncb. was 19 when took policy though

so they know about all the mods ontop of the standard xe?

im with CIS myself and looking to change it as i wasnt happy with the renewal price and found that adrian flux is goin to be cheaper

iv got 2 months left but told me they wont insure engine mods, im buggered to selling my car for next 2 months really unless i either by a standard car which i dont want to do our i start a second policy and loose me 10months of this years policy to get me 2nd years no claims

quinn direct wont put your premium up if you dont do performance mods such as exhaust, suspension etc

wont insure you on anything like a corsa xe though. used to be cheap for my old gsi though

insurance is due on the evo rang a few places and so far i havent even been able to get a quote

Churchhill - Need Tracker
Direct line - Dont cover modified import MR
Admiral - Too many mods
Hyperformance - Need tracker

Had a day off work to hit the rest of they tomorrow
