Paphos is nice but the part we were in didnt really have any beaches.

I've been.
Protoras. Excellent long beach, some hotels, are literally road, set back hotel, pool & gardens, beach good mixture of bars and restaurants. Then Aya Napa (sp?) is about 10 min taxi ride home

It was so nice we didn't leave mate, except once when we went for a walk...
They had everything you need in your own little world, chefs 2 star michelin so the food was spot on every night, decent pool, sunbeds, gym, large villa with your own lounge, balcony .etc
Had no need to venture out - was definately the most relaxed I have ever been... ohh yeah they do massages and all sorts of therapies too which we got chucked in with some 7 day Health break

Just realised, your on about the complex, but we dont need to look around for a complex as my Mom is with RCI, so we can go wherever we want and have a villia for free
What town was it in DNA?

Wouldn't know anything about the town mate, so I'm not going to recommend it as I say we were in our own little world.... was Kyrenia though - pretty sure theres nice parts for the town. This worked for us being just outside and on it's own. I have been somewhere else before but can't remember the name - that was nice, began with a P but wasn't Paphos or any others mentioned here!

Went to Ayia Napa last year at the start of september and couldnt believe how hot it was, some days touching 40 and still high 20s at night, very uncomfortable unless you were in a pool or air conditioned bar! May have just been a hot spell but id expect higher than mid 20s

You'd love it Jade, me and my girlfriend did the 7 Day Health break which included food (breakfast and dinner) and you can buy lunch if you want, it cost us overall 1.5k for a week - thats for both.... eating lunch as well and drinking decent wine in the evening + some other bits.
Everything about it was amazing, theres only 6 villas so the owners are really nice and personable, the chef cooks amazing food and they're decent meals - breakfast was 6 courses when we went... and you could choose what they were.
I'd definately recommend it, money well spent

I've been a few times, 9!!!
Ayia Napa i think will be better for you guys. Try and get a place near to nissy (sp) beach. It's got fantastic beaches and you can hire push bikes if you 2 were up for a ride. There's also a water park (you'll need to get a taxi to get there) you could make a day of it. You must go on both of the slides. The straight down one, hold your shorts out and away from your arse. Trust me about it, it hurts
