Sign this petition and pass it around to everyone you know. At the moment it only has over 5000 signatures. Remember we will all be affected by this no matter what we drive, it has nothing todo with just driving a 4X4. Most modest sized cars will end up paying loads more than they do now.
It's time we stood up to this car hating government.

Not really the attitude to take though is it? Shall we all just bend over and let them continue shafting us at every turn?
OK so it might not effect you now but we are talking about a couple of years time when you might want a bigger engined car.

The price of fuel is more of a pressing issue tbh. People struggling to pay for their mortgages all the while petrol/diesel and now possibly gas/electric prices are set to soar...... Sod £5 or £50 a year more on RFL!!! Buy a more eco-friendly car if the cost of RFL is your main worry! But there's no way around paying ridiculous costs on the fuel we need for day to day living

I think this new car tax is discraseful.
Many people wouldn't have bought their 1.6, 1.8 cars back in 2003/4 if they knew their road tax was gunna be £200/£250.
For brand new cars I'd understand, but no, for poor unsuspecting people its more expensive.

Fine sit back and do nothing and have every hard earned penny taken away from you. It's not just about Road tax, it's the whole issue of Motorists having the constant piss ripped out of them at every turn. But i can see that for now you are alright Jack!
