today doing sprocket stalls and axle grinds on the bike i obliterated my chain tensioner.
So to fix tension problems i removed a link out of my chain making the rear wheel slammed and wheelbase as short as possible.
Only problem is is that when i tighten up my rear wheel it adds more tension (due to bolts spinning thus moving the wheel), even when i put it against a wall to tighten it tensions more.
The chain is just about before dangerous levels, i can still move it, allthough not totally freely about a cm up and down. Is it safe to ride a lot without it breaking?
Ps my chain is a shadow halflink, so stronger than average chains.

it should be ok my kmc kool is mega tight to stop the cranks spinning when i need them still i land on mine all the time if it breaks its new chain time really lol

as long as its got some up and down it should be fine. do the cranks still spin freely if pedaled backwards?

will go one full turn then stop when spun backwards.

that should be fine mate might be worth carying ur chain tool tho incase sumat happends but mines waaaay tighter than that..
internal chain tugs ftw
looks like a nice rig to ride but get that brake off

im suprised your chain hasnt exploded.
Yeh i always carry my tool. need it for getting the wheel off normally anyway cos of the chains tightness! lmao.
Yeh its chuckable. I like to ride cut down bars but lots of people find them too thin.
And no, linear brake all the way - love tapping stuff andim not doing it brakeless!

when i rode bmx i had same sort of set up as you bars cut down like you'rs, kmc fat chain etc. i lost interest in bmxing tho still had some good times.

oh and just this minute ordered a new SnM seat clamp.
going to get the bike fully black, apart from the forks and bars colour coded something else, haven't decided yet though........
