Mate of mines just bought a bog standard 1.4 Sport (s plate) not the tidiest, but got it for a good price.
Now he wants new wheels, lad at work offered him a set of 4 16" Irmshcher exclusives, kurbed, need re-furbing for 200 quid with 4 yoko's with loads of tread.
I offer to re-furb them for 30 quid, aslong as he buys the paint, fair deal, so all in all it would work out:
Wheels - 200
Me - 30
Paint - 20
Total of 250, now the same guy has offered him a set of 17's, with tyres, dont need re-furbing at all, for 240. So he says to me, im gunna get them, they will work out cheaper  (a tenner)
So i say fair enough, but will they fit, which he replies "yeah there four stud" 
I said never mind, ill have a look and see if they will fit. Went and had a look, had a nice stamp on the inside reading ET38 
I go tell him they will scrub like fuck, especially as he wants to lower it 40mm aswell, he says "no they wont, your only saying that so you get paid for painting the others"
I replied, ok do what you want, only trying to help.
Sorry for the rant, just pisses me off, im a Corsa GEEK he knows fuck all about cars in general, never mind Corsa's. He will never listen.

he obviously doesn't give a shit about your GOOD ADVICE so you can just laugh at him when he needs to buy new tyres every month because of the scrubbage

haha my 1st wheels i had on my 1st corsa were some 17's, i didnt have a clue about offset etc just knew they were 4 stud and a right pcd lol so i got them cheap and they scrubbed like fook

a lad near me thinks that multi fitment wheels meant that it fits every available stud pattern,
oh and thought he could fit vaux alloys to a metro cos they were both 4 stud
