Want to mask off some of my rear bumper to paint is it ok to use bog standard masking tape onto my paint wont take it off or eat away at it or any think silly will it?

Good Good just checking lol as sore some tape that was ment for body work but was a fortune, so bought the bog standard stuff and advises on back not safe for all surfaces,

More expensive masking tape is usually a bit more strechy than the regular stuff making it better for body work

also you want to make sure you take it off as soon as your paint is dry.. some cheaper stuff sets like glue if left for too long or it gets wet etc

I use Wurth Yellow tape and for 5 x 2" rolls its about £4.
If you are wanting to mask out the top part to leave teaxtured i would reccomend a fine line tape to get it more accurate and personally i pull it off when its wet.
