The new ones, specifically the 1.9 twin turbo deisel (180ps). Anyone had any experience with them? My brothers getting one on lease in a couple of months for some reason (he's getting a black 'vector sport' )
I am not convinced

I know it is fad and I agree jambo!
He likes biggish cars, he does about 60 miles a day and it's through vauxhall friends lease scheme (saab part of gm). Think it costs about 70 a week all in....
He's swapping his astra twin top for it.

Someone has one of these at work as their company car, through a lease thing.
Seems ok, more prestige than a Vauxhall I guess, but how much better? I don't know.
They always seem to have nice seats in them.

My dad owns a Saab and Vaux speicalist garage.
He has always had Saabs and has a 9-3 at the moment. 2.0 turbo, very nice car with the standard 17s and rather nippy now its been chipped.
They are very subtle cars but great performance, mainly noticeable in the overtaking range rather than 0-60.
My Civic 1.6 VTI vtec stuck with my dads P reg 900 turbo to 120mph and then he pulled away

They are ok, we've had a few in at work. Feel better than the Vectra's whether they are worth the extra money though I'm not sure.

As do most cars in this sector. I used to look at Saab's and think they were special. Not anymore. Too many crossover parts from GM relatives and they are not that individual anymore.
As a car to drive, I would probably rather be in a mondeo.

My boss has the 93 convertible area hot.
Very nice looking outside, inside is a bit plain I guess. Stick it in 3rd and it pulls SOOO well through the mid range. Very nice car and picked it up for just £20k fairly new.
