Thanks for texts earlier Tomtom, Matt L x

Yeah, how hard is it to replace? (i get the idea its hard/fiddly ) is there an easy way to go about it?

Old one got smashed so i presume glass will be in the door too

It has manual windows if that matters.

Thanks for any advice/help
Marcus

remove doorcard, remove the vinyl strip on window edge, remove the old metal strip from the runner, hoover glass from inside the door.

Slide new glass in,guide the runners into the strip on bottom of the glass, check works properly, doorcard back on..job done

Is it really that simple getting the new window in? There is a lot of metal on the door once the door card is off

Its a bit fiddly guideing the runners into the metal strip on,with the small amount of room you have to get your hands in.

But hould take about twenty minutes really if that.

Slide it in where it would normally be,make sure you wind the mechanism all way down.

theres like long metal bars with little rectangles which slot into the glass strip

Ah right, thanks.

Is there any bolts or anything holding the window in or does it just sit on the runner and guide itself?

The rectangle blocks hold it in the runner,no screws or bolts.

I changed mine when mine got smashed being broken into.

Only Part that pissed me off was getting the window winder handle off took forever...
