Dont they know it too. One of the lads brothers was in the RAF but didnt serve - again - if he had known the reason why the flags were flying etc, he wouldnt have done it, they are both remorseful, I've done rediculous things when drunk, I think most of us have, and regretted the consequences.

Id be kicking myself if i found out Id done that. TBH though I can never see myself being too drunk to notice a flag is at half mast.

Nowadays they fly flags at half mast when the wind changes, like the black armbands at footy games.
Drunkeness = Logic out the window.
I'll make no excuses for them though.

Idiots. Great representation of England again.
If you don't like the UK, fuck off and cause trouble around the world.

It certainly doesnt, but two guys making the news on three continents for the wrong reasons just propagates ill feelings toward us.

You gotta be kidding me? you even think that thought process would go through your head of 'hmm i wonder why it's at half mast?' - when your completely wrecked, you'd be like 'Cool! a flag! and it's lower and reachable, i can practically reach up and grab it... this will look so good on my bedroom wall - yoink'
still not right what they did lol.

People do have a different threshold for stupidness when drunk dont forget.
When i'm wasted, i can still think straight enough. I know what to do and what not to to do, although its done at a slower pace

I can't understand how they didn't know what a flag flying at half mast meant. Drunk or not it's a total no brainer
Same as if you saw some flowers attached to a lamp post next to road. You know why they're there & you know it's wrong to take them
