if its hairline cracks then Polyfilla do a Thixotropic paint which is used as a very thin layer of plaster; then just paint over it again.
With plaster repairs, I wold personally always look at repainting the whole wall, not just the affected aread

^^ should be fine then, if it was a brand new house they knocked up on the cheap the plaster will prob be thin and shit, however im sure your uncle would of done a good job. Dont start any repares until sky have come back to you though as they may want to see the damage

Who cares. Just think of all the porn you can watch after today.
You're focusing on the wrong kind of cracks.

There's not really much you can do wrong through drilling, unless he was swinging it around his head. If it cracked, it cracked no matter who would be drilling it. Don't forget they do that job all day too so imagine it must happen often. Just fill and paint . Still put a claim in or get a free Television X subs

Thats what I was thinking, the thing is ive drilled into the wall before and its been fine no cracks at all, soon as he drilled I noticed it all appear down the wall. Hes noted it to his manager and on his computer and said for me to ring up. Gonna give them a ring later and see what they say.

did he drill through the wall from the outsides and straight through into the room?
a few occasions i have done this with the drill on hammer but carried on and its all blown out the other side.
normally can tell when its almost through the brickwork so you dont need to push on hard.
i cant see it cracking all over though. Only way it could do is if its dot and dabbed and they have been skimpy upon doing it and the board has flexed?
tbh i think id just forget about it.

Think yourself lucky he didn't drill through the gas main like he did in my sister's house, then decided to drill through a 130 year old window frame as it was safer

I always use core bits for drilling through walls at work, no busting bricks
its one of those things, I personally wouldnt be arsed claiming

They have some kind of disclaimer warning for stuff like this. They also don't do cavity work and leave cables hanging out all over the place.
P.S. mattk, your car is sexual.
