Correction: Haimsey will predict a ban for you if you already have 8 points before you even take your test

Insurance does go up because on a provisional licence you have to have an experienced driver over the age of 21 with a minimum of 3 years driving experience with you at all times.when you pass your test you are a 'high risk driver' in the eyes of an insurance company

tbh pass plus is only accepted by certain companys, the ones that cost the most, so in the long run just dont do it, get a cheaper insurance quote than the ones given with insurance companys that accept pass+

Yeh.not too sure how motorbike insurance works but i guess due to the fact you dont have someone experienced with you before hand you obviously have to show more control of the bike that say a learner car that has dual control.Mine went up a huge amount with quinn direct too mate.i was £900 odd a year with all my mods declared, fully comp with my own policy on a provisional but when i passed it went up to £2400 a year fully comp, again all mods declared and own policy so had to go for the third party, fire and theft option for £1400 a year
