Even so, without the CSV code on the back of the card you can't do shit anymore.

You'd also need the satart and expiry date too.

It would probably be easier to set up a standing order than a DD?
Either way the bank will inform you of the arrangements before funds are removed, so pretty safe imo
I guess in the past you could have gone to another branch and faked a sig/ID (if you fancied the risk of being caught on cctv) Chip and pin has done away with that now though

So, if you have a card machine, you can't run someone's card details through without the SEC code, postcode or house number?
Are you still 100% sure?

My card machine asks for the code and the house number and postcode if the customer isnt present, however it is possible to tell the machine that the customer is present and all you need is the card number and expiry date, then it asks for a signature.
