No.3 of just 20 made
Buy it, Put it in a garage and sell it in a few years once the rest have been smashed into roundabouts/weighed down by bodykits.

120 bhp standard, plus 2K thrown at it (so he says) so could easily be 160bhp.
RR is the only way to prove though.

not on the standard inlet it wont be 160, 150 is pushing it on a cams and management setup with the original inlet

i really couldnt tell you mate but 160brake is a bit optimistic imo.
Its cool, i do that too, Look at the pretty lambo Gallardo's on PH's.

cams, management, exhaust, manifold, wheels, suspension, i havent really looked at the pics close enough to work it out tbh
but it still has the standard inlet so 160bhp is optimistic

youd be very lucky to get a true 160bhp with cams and managment alone, pauls had pretty much everything done bar tb's and his made 150bhp iirc
same with my old one

"I am told the company spent £2,000 on tuning these
so you can imagine what they have done. "
if i'm buying a car, i'd rather know what i'm buying than "try to imagine"

yeh no way it's 160 bhp. Same way LAD motorsport advertise 160 bhp and 185 bhp tuning packages.
I think both were on standard inlet and the true figures for both were like
the 160 package = 140 ish and was things like exhaust + filter and sparks plugs
and the 185 bhp package was cams and ecu remapped I think but probably would be lucky to make 155.
Also it's not a true limited edition, the plack on the imobiliser makes me laugh.
I think the only good thing about the car is the wheels.

why was that? did he not check his oil or something?
Loads of cars on saxo sports club / 106 owners etc, are running 155-160 bhp and a lot more and they run fine.
Mine has been cammed for years and is fine, runs no different.
The bottom end is industructable on these cars, although some people upgrade arp bolts as a precaution and upgrade bottom ends parts if going high comp pistons.
The only problem with these engines are the sensors can be a bit unreliable and fault finding is a bit of a pain. Thankfully I now have a spare set of every single sensor, spare coil pack, spare injectors, spare plugs etc. So if anything goes wrong, it's just a case of swapping parts till it works again.
