Not sure about having a go 'in' one

But a great laugh, and you should transfer what you learn onto the road....esp if the car you use is the same configuration as yours

I had a go on ice driving training in France a few weeks back. Isn't the same as a skid pan because you're not allowed to fuck around

I can't imagine it'd be that fun. My friend did one at knockhill and was pretty diaspponted. He said it was more 'educational' than fun.
You could have more fun in an empty car park in the snow.

Depends where you do one really, it should be educational and 'fun'

On a skid pan you will have cones laid out and an instructor telling you how to brake/steer around objects...as well as car control in the conditions.

I dont think you will learn such things in a car park (but its fun practicing them afterwards)
