In a carpark went past a police van just about to go into a space and this copper swung open my door and went mental at me. Said " are you taking the piss" I said am in a carpark and he said it doesnt matter. I begged him lol and luckily for me they had caught someone in thier rat trap car in the carpark so he let me off.

didnt think they could do it in a car park but obviously they can

yeh i was in motion going into a spot . Couldnt believe i got off but was in more shock that I couldnt use it. Apperently its still public highway.

It IS public highway.

Same reason why you can't park a SORN'd car in a public carpark as its not taxed or insured.
