I'd love a VVC Metro. I've had 2 1.4's, and they go well enough.
If it's a 160BHP engine, it'll go like fook.

K series engines r ok once they had the headgasket done once, my brothers went and it never went again after simlar for other ppl he knew as well, the new gasket was like a metal one.. The other great thing about the engine isit is so dam light its unbelivable even the 1.8 is.

i think the bloke in the civic thought he was gna eat this little metro for breakfast but nooo lol.its actually a gta not a gti i think anyway and yes matey it is stripped out,yer they are ellise engines, the engine code is vvc, they put them in ellis's metro's and also the mg zr,when i had my metro gti i got in contact with a company in birmingham who do the conversions, for 2200.i could have a vvc engine professionly fitted or type r engine fully fitted with the engine included in the price
