Spent 5 odd hours cleaning the outside of the GTi today - lovely weather!

Used the usual two bucket method with all my megs and auto glym goodies

wash, dry, polish, extra gloss, wax! didnt need a clay etc...

anyway heres some pics i took!

I then had a little play with two shots, linked 3 seperate photos up to get a nice width, then just desaturated one and increased the saturation on the red.

word of warning mate, i use the same stuff and if you put too much on it will just spray all down your doors and rear bumper when you drive it.

having a white car is shit for things like that, had to re-clean it

edit: no sorry i use meguiars endurance tyre gel (purple colour) which is very good for £7,99 and will last about a year

I use the Megs hot shine stuff on my tyres, and imo its the best stuff. I apply it by spraying on a sponge first then wipe it on the tyre, that way you don't get loads of excess sitting there.

What do you use the cleaner wax for in the clay bar kits as I've never used mine yet.
