i think you'll find bmx is all about beefy as fuck guys wearing tight jeans and fitted hoody's mate
Anyone who says bmx's are wank obv dont ride proper ones at all.
Linear brakes are awesome, and you can get different top tube.seat tube lengthes depending on your height.
example im like 5,8 and i ride a 20" top tube, meaning the bike is a good size for me.
This is mine. Shitty pic but you get the idea.......
should have another chromey on the front, but a smashed my hub up doing silly tricks

Old MTB that was too big in my view for nipping around/street riding etc...

And my amte flea has pretty much the exact same bike as this and its sweet as fuck.

yeh ive spent about 700 on my bmx *hangs head in shame*
but it is awesome to ride
different people need different set ups. I.e, i always use high rise cut down(narrowed) bars and a short frame, so it can fling the bike around easier/get good angle to hop etc etc.

I labour for a builder in summer holidays, one year one of the other guys that worked for him used to ride everywhere on a BMX, one time he had to get a big petrol steel saw to another site, so he had to cycle about a mile down one of the major routes into nottingham on a BMX witha steel saw in hand!

Looks like an oversided dusty BMX track. Where are all the rocks and roots to fall on?
I'd love to have a bash there though, looks like fun

lol it's more than that
National Points standard 4x
Dirt jumps (including 8 pack and 6 pack)
Downhill course
Freeride area (with 2 runs down, 1 complete, 1 under construction and loads of north shore, some currently being rebuilt).
It's more for the freerider, ride down the hill, walk back up with a big rig.
Wales sounds like a plan too - was there on Sunday, did a ride round the Brecon Beacons. Parked a village or 2 down from Talybont-on-Usk (sp?).

I was going to do the same thing...
but BMXs are rubbish anywhere appart from a carpark or skate park.
Mountain bikes are miles better for urban use tbh
also alot cooler imo...
That your bike mate? Always fancied getting into Downhill but the prices of a decent bike always put me off
If it is then w ehave a world champion amongst our midst
