Was driving to work and a nice big stone has hit my windscreen and now I have a nice big crack.
Any idea how much it is to get a new windscreen? Its for a 04 Astra

yep i am just want to know how much it will cost. think i have a £70 exsess on my windscreen.

I payed £60 for mine, was the excess, and you shouldnt loose any NCB if you do. Was repaired 2 days after it happened.

this is a big crack all the way though and is about 50cm long curving from the top of the windscreen under the rear view mirror

Use the insurance policy £70 excess will be cheaper than buying a new windscreen!

Luckily mines £50 as had to get mine done last year!

Make them come to you, I went to them and they seemed to enjoy thrashing my car around the block!

it shouldnt matter how big the crack is mate. if your fully comp do it through your insurence, like a couple above have said i paid £60 too and they did it on my drive

mine just cracked aswell form a stonechip, going to have to ring up and get mine done
