I went to watch "Speed the Plow" at the Old Vic theatre in London on Saturday. It has a cast of 3...Kevin Spacey!! Jeff Goldblum (sp) and some bird who I cant remember her name...was amazing...Spacey is an amazing actor...was even impressed with GB as he is normally crap (bar the fly) in movies...

Its sold out now though...

Went to watch the Lord of the Rings play a month back too...was average I would say...some visually stunning sets but the books and films are that long they skipped tons of it out to fit it in...which made it a bit pants from a Lord of the Rings fans point of view...

As for a play to watch with the Mrs I would say she would enjoy Hairspray as thats a bit of a girlie on...

i went to see the "his dark materials" plays afew years ago in london. they were ace, saw colin firth there as well

Seen a few musicals and i like the dance type things (tap dogs, stomp)
not so keen on plays really.
