You can pick them up from 10k now Theres a lovely red one with 129k miles for £9995. Fecking love it! Its been looked after so mileage shouldnt be a massive issue & its cheap. My mates M3 Evo was on 100k when he bought it.
As for prefering the rag top, its ok....seeing its you

That red one I posted for £10k I recon you wouldnt lose much on. Its priced right to begin with. You put it up next yr for 9k & someone like minded of myself would rip yer arm off for it! 
Mileage used to bother me, now I only care about condition!!
Same with E36 M3's you can get them for 12k with 40k miles, or 5k with 120k, whats the more sensible buy? If the 120k milers been looked after id have it!

Theres a couple on PH advertised saying its had a new engine at 50k/60k, that tells a story in itself!!
