Basically, our Capri has been sitting in the garage for about a year. The battery has gone flat (it hasnt been started in over 10 months). Its an auto, its been left in Park with the handbrake off.

Do I need to worry about rocking it forwards and back to unseeze anything? I plan to service it before it's MOT, would you recommend I charge it, drive it out, let it warm up, do the oil change and then go for a drive or push it out and do the oil change, then start it for the first time (worried about the engine seezing )

Anything else I need to worry about?

On the positive side, it's getting four new speakers and a stealth stereo

What mk capri is it out of interest?

Out of habbit i'd turn it over with the ignition coil lead unplugged so it turns but doesn't fire. Then start it properly.

Lad here has a late capri 1.6 pinto. Hes looking for some 40 DCOEs atm
