Behave!.. The police are w@nkers, they put cameras in places where people build up speed to overtake, and where there is no pedestrian access. The only reason the cameras are there is to boost their conviction statistics and put money in their pockets. Anyone who believes that the cameras are there as a road safety measure is a fool!

I got banned for 3 weeks for 110mph in a 70 with no points and a fine.
Learned my lesson, I stick to limits now.

That has got a fair bit of truth in it but tbf, he decided to speed, he got caught. We all know that there's speed cameras, mobile camera vans, unmarked cars and all the rest of it. You go over the limit you risk getting caught, we all know the risks and it's upto us whether we take the risks, if you take a risk and get caught, you deal with it and move on.
I'm not trying to come across as being all high and mighty, 'I've never broke the speed limit' :halo: and all that, I've broke the speed limit, I've no doubt it'll happen again and when I do it I'll know that there could be a speed camera, unmarked car etc just up the road and if there is I'll hold my hands up and take the punishment. There just seems to be far too many people about that do the crime but don't wanna do the time. Either take the risk and pay the price if you get caught or don't take the risk and you won't have to 'get out of it'

If you have to exceed the speed limit to overtake, then you shouldn't be doing it. The only people bothered by speed cameras are people that speed.

Bullshit!
Kathryn, you drive like 10 miles a week, if that.
I drive 30 - 40k a year, hopefully less soon, and i admit i speed from time to time. You lot make me laugh with your comments over speeding yet next week i'll see a thread created by you complaining you got caught speeding.
Same with those of you who think petrol prices are ok to rise. They effect everything including the price of food.

agreed, lots of crimes happen all the time.
no idea why 10 or so officers are at the side of the road doing random checks when i see them.
its a 2/3 officer job?

I agree with Mike B however I still think the police are w@nkers doing what they do, its just petty if you ask me! All the dickheads out there committing benefit fraud and getting away with it, and the police are more concerned with people doing 31mph in a 30.
