basically im currently driving 1.1 mk3 fiesta and getting annoyed with the lack of power and want something i want to do stuff with like make look better, its 2tone so gonna look crap to me whatever happens so concidering my options. i know corsa's are alot lower insurance group than the equivilant fiesta and corsa's look more modern as fiesta is more square which looks good with right mods but my car isnt worth bothering doing that to really, so just seeing what corsa b to get my fiesta is group 4 which for a 1.1 is poor but ford arnt known for there high quality theft prevention lol

if i got corsa id put gsi bumpers on it maybe debadge grille and lower abit n maybe a backbox to add bit of sound but nothing massive, just looking to keep it subtle, suggestions and opinions anyway

Before doing anything, get quotes on a 1.2 Sxi, and a 1.4/1.6 sport and see which looks the most paletable .

there easily tuneable aswell, most parts from across the vaux range simply bolt on - bigger brakes, bigger engines etc

ive looked and main 3 choices seem to be 1.4 sport, 1.4 sri or 1.4 gls as all seem to be around the same power, is it possible to change from 1 insurance to another during a policy as im with direct line and if i bought corsa they dont allow modifications even tho none would be performance i dont think they allow any of any kind

btw if anyone have a corsa for sale let me know as il be buying farely soon

Yes its possible to change your policy but ring them up first with a reg of a possible car you want to buy and see if it puts your policy up or gives you a rebate, also dont forget they will shove on an exorbitant admin fee for the pleasure also

if you are insuring a mk3 then a corsa will be cheeper. insurance companys wanted 2.5k to insure a 1.1 mk3 and 900 to insure a 1.4 16v corsa b

id say either 1.4 sri 8v or 1.6 a6v sport.both nippy although my tigra had the same engine as a 1.4 16v sport and that had some poke in it
