As in topic, I'm looking to buy a PS3 from the UK.

Where would you recommend to purchase from? Obviously I'd want it to be as cheap as possible (possibly bundled with games), but I'm also looking for a reliable shop.

Is there any place where I can compare prices between the various online-shops?

Cheers guys. Due to enormous shipping and handling fees from most UK dealers I've ended up ordering a white PS3 from Hong Kong.

Should be here within a week...!

The thing is, that since the dollar has dropped rapidly in value the GBP has gone in the same direction. So for everyone dependent on euro, this is the time to do some importing.

ah is that right? i thought at the moment the GBP was about 1 1/2 times stronger than the euro?

compared to twice as strong as the dollar.

Nah mate, the GBP has dived aswell.
6 months ago 1 GBP = 11 DKK (my national currency) now 1 GBP = 9,5 DKK.

So say I bought a PS3 for 300£.
Six months ago that would have cost me 3.300 DKK, now it's only 2.850 DKK. That's a difference of roughly 50£ for me, though the price is the same for you.

Close enough, it's 'Kroner'. It means crowns.

I believe that our currency is pretty strong, though it's greatly dependent on the euro which has experienced very little movenment since its birth.
